Meet Our Team

Jacob Deacon

Founder/Director

Jacob started in the hair industry back in 2015 having just left school with no time to waste he started a apprenticeship with Toni&Guy Hairdressers, after 2 years he moved onto primarily Men’s hair working at a couple of different Barbershops around the local areas one of which called Menspire.

The time had then come for Jacob to embark on his own journey creating Fifty5, From day one the business has continued to grow year by year and has established itself quickly, from 5 star reviews on haircuts and hospitality to Fifty5 hair styling products ,Fifty5 has it all to offer.

Jamie Gorton

Senior stylist

Jamie started his hair journey back in 2017 at the age of 15 years old where worked as a Saturday boy learning the trade to which he fell in love with . 1 year later he moved onto cutting hair from home learning more about hair and building his own clientele. After a few years in the trade Jamie attended west herts college where he then gained his qualification whilst on the shop floor in Chaulden barbershop then Progressing to join the fifty5 team in 2019.

Jamie covers all hair types , specialising in soft more natural hairstyles and has great knowledge in hair products aswell as styling advice .

Conor Coyle

Stylist

My names Conor Coyle, I’ve been a barber for nearly 2 years now. My main interests are football and music festivals. I first caught interest in the industry when I was doing work experience in a unisex hairdressers at the age of 16. I started to learn the trade at the learning curve group (formerly LHAA) about 2 years ago and switched career from retail management.

Mark Berg

Senior Stylist/Manager

Mark has been in the barbering industry for 9 years. He prides himself on delivering a personal and professional service to every client that takes a seat in his chair.
He has worked barbers across Hertfordshire to gain his experience to provide his best service. Mark pays specific attention to analysing the hair before getting to work, ensuring that each client receives a personalised experience. With mark, you can feel rest assured that you’ll be in great hands. He is a big Chelsea fan and spends his off days on the golf course and spending time with his family.
